Johnson King has today become part of Finn Partners, one of the fastest growing and most ambitious PR firms in the world.
Becoming part of Finn Partners means that Johnson King is now part of a 350 strong international PR firm, with access to far greater resources, including a 30 strong digital team, greater international reach and the ability to provide its clients with an expanded range of services.
“At Johnson King, we’ve always taken pride in having a great working environment with collaborative, friendly, hard working account teams. Like us, Finn Partners has an ethos that puts its staff at the centre of what it does,” said Mike King, founder Johnson King. “Both firms have won countless ‘Best Place to Work’ awards and our shared values are one of the main reasons we’ve agreed to join forces. It feels great to be embarking on the next stage of our growth.”
Last night the Johnson King team attended The Sabre Awards EMEA, which celebrated the very best PR campaigns from 2013/14. The agency was nominated for two awards - Technology Campaign of the Year (Hardware Category) and Multi-Country Programme of the Year.
Facing stiff competition from some big brand campaigns, Johnson King went on to win the technology category for making Iceotope the 'hottest brand in cooling'.
Johnson King has caught the eye of the judges and been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories of the Holmes Report’s European SABRE Awards 2014.
First, a brand awareness campaign for Iceotope, the innovative British liquid-cooling startup, has been shortlisted for ‘Best UK & Ireland Campaign’. In addition, Johnson King’s aggressive, issues-based campaign for US-headquartered security intelligence specialist LogRhythm – which spanned the UK, French and German markets – has made the cut for ‘Best Multi-Country Campaign’.
The winners are due to be announced at a ceremony taking place in London on 20th May and more information can be found on the Holmes Report site.

Johnson King has started working with SSE Telecoms to raise awareness of the network and data center operators among UK enterprises.
SSE Telecoms, which is part of the SSE Group, operates one of the UK’s largest fiber optic networks as well as data centers across the country. With a track record of delivering ultra-resilient, high capacity services to the very demanding service provider market, it is now expanding both its network and its service offering in order to meet the needs of enterprises and public sector organizations.
Johnson King is undertaking an aggressive media relations campaign as well as supporting SSE Telecoms’ analyst, social media and in-bound marketing activity. Not only will this activity help raise awareness of the SSE Telecoms brand, it is also designed to educate end user organizations about the risks associated with telecoms and data center outages.
